  • Step 1

Software is often confusing, so we focused on making sure elements are consistent and relevant to what you’re working on so that you’re not constantly trying to find your bearings when you navigate through the software.

One of the ways that we did this was to use a consistent design for similar types of information. So, for example, the screens that provide information about reference items, like a product, a material, a vendor and a customer, all look the same.

Here’s what the product screen looks like:

  • Step 2

    Business card

Displays the most important information about a product – the product code, style, color and size, for example. It can fit up to 4 attributes. But let’s be honest, we don’t know your business like you do. So, we made sure that you can choose what information shows up here.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 3

    Attribute panel

You’re probably going to need access to more than just the 4 pieces of information in the business card. So, the attribute panel shows the second most important information about your product. You can control what information is shown here and can change it any time you like.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 4

    More tab

All of the information that you still need but only access once in a blue moon is available in the more tab.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 5

    BOM

All items have a Bill of Materials associated with it. Unlike other systems, the BOM in Paragon includes materials as well as any related labor and tools. The BOM can be nested to account for sub-assemblies and sub-processes, and documents like spec sheets or CAD drawings can be attached here.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 6

    Activity panel

This real-time activity feed shows all the transactions that are associated with the product, like quotes, work orders, invoices and other transactions the product appears on. You can filter this list based on the type of transaction or the status of the transaction to find what you’re looking for quickly and easily.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 7

    Notes

Keep track of notes associated with your product. Notes are time-stamped.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 8

    Action button

Not every button can be used all the time. So, we’ve cut down the number of buttons on the interface to as little as one. We like call it this the “one button that rules them all” or the action button. When the action button is clicked, only functions that are relevant to what the you are doing now and what you can do next appear.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 9

    Menu

Paragon’s navigation menu gives you access to any of the modules you need. The navigation menu is completely customizable so each user has quick access to all the specific modules they need, while still maintaining access to the rest of the modules via the “more” menu.

    Go back to the menu
  • Step 10

    Product list

A list with all your products so you can easily navigate between them.
